Real Music, Imagined Life
A virtual neo-soul artist from London. The woman is fiction. The 115 tracks are not.
“She doesn’t exist, but the feeling when you press play does.”
Sadie Noir is a virtual artist — born from a love of neo-soul, late-night London, and the question: what would it sound like if one woman poured her whole messy life into eight albums? So we built her. Gave her a story that runs from Brixton to Primrose Hill, from heartbreak on the N29 to the quiet strength of the women who raised her.
The music is Rhodes piano, unhurried bass, and vocals mixed close enough to feel like a conversation. Eight albums, each one a chapter: a wedding-day reckoning with a liar at the altar, a breakup walked off through London streets, a piano-only confessional, a night bus ride at 3 AM, a family reckoning, an identity crisis in borrowed clothes, a love affair in Camden that was doomed from the start, and the sweet sting of falling and landing. 115 tracks released through Godvliet Records — press play and decide for yourself.
